Medical and Anti-Doping News

ISAF has set our Registered Testing Pool (RTP) for the first half of 2008 on 19 December 2007 and this is now published on the ISAF Medical and Anti-Doping microsite – www.sailing.org/medical.
The ISAF RTP identifies sailors who are subject to both In-competition testing and Out-of-Competition testing. Sailors in the ISAF RTP are required to provide whereabouts information using the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS).

Please note, from the start of 2008, ISAF will ONLY accept whereabouts information through ADAMS. If you are part of the ISAF RTP and not registered on ADAMS, please send the completed the Athlete Profile form to the ISAF Medical Secretary immediately, who will register you on ADAMS.

More information on the ADAMS system, the ADAMS Athletes Guide, and an Athlete Whereabouts Training Video can all be found on the ISAF Medical and Anti-Doping microsite – www.sailing.org/medical.

Prohibited List

The 2008 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods is now also available to view via the ISAF Medical and Anti-Doping microsite. The List, published by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), is the International Standard identifying Substances and Methods prohibited in sport.
